Vinh Kim fruit market at the beginning of the new year

The sapota fruit is at the harvested season so fruits come to market abundantly. Be Ba in Vinh Kim commune said: "From 1: am to 2: am, the market is busy. My sapota gardens are harvested so I bring fruit to the market from the the first day of the new year. Due to the harvested season, the amount of sapota fruit pour into the market more abundantly”.

Le Van Duc in Long Thanh hamlet, Ban Long commune buys more than a ton of sapota fruit every day to distribute to small traders in the markets. "I have been trading in this market for 10 years. Although the the consumption of fruit on the first days of the year is not much, the atmosphere in Vinh Kim market is still very busy”, he said.

Along with sapota fruit, star apple at the market in the beginning of the year is also quite large. Nguyen Duy Son in Ban Long commune, said: "On average, I buy more than 1 ton of star apple per a day. At this point, many star apple gardens are on the harvest. At present, the price of Lo Ren star apple is about VND15,000 per a kilogram for the first type,  VND12,000 per a kilogram for brown star apple, increased about VND7,000 per a kilogram compared with the time before Tet”.

As noted in the fruit depots, many depots bowls are busy packing fruit to deliver to customers in the provinces. Labor in the depots are busy with the job of packaging fruits  after Tet holidays.
