At the dialogue, leaders of Department of Planning and Investment Tien Giang reported the results of solving difficulties and problems of enterprises and information on some socio-economic situation, business development in 2017. Accordingly, in 2017, Tien Giang province organized four dialogues with businesses and had 35 proposals, including 31/35 recommendations resolved completely and 4 recommendations resolved.

In 2017, 576 new businesses were established in the eastern districts; attracted 5 investment projects with a total registered capital of 229 billion; regional enterprises contributed VND 216 billion to the budget. It was said that with the efforts of leaders in the province, it contributed to raising the provincial competitiveness index (CPI) in 2017 of Tien Giang province to positive changes. In 40 out of 63 cities and provinces, the CPI increased by 8 grades compared to 2016.

Businesses had many ideas and proposals around the issues related to taxes for cooperatives, land issues, investment support policies, etc ... Questions content of enterprises were answered by leaders of the province and the province of Tien Giang to create conditions for businesses to invest and develop.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong proposed the Department of Planning and Investment need to have an address so that enterprises can reflect and raise issues which need help from the functional branches of the province. He proposed the tax branch, bank, environmental resources, planning - investment, transportation and local leaders will meet with each unit in the next week to know the situation and report to the PPC for consideration and solution. For matters not under the authority, the province will submit to the functional units for further resolution.

Through the dialogue, most of enterprises said that the leaders of Tien Giang province have satisfactorily dealt with the issue of enterprises to help businesses to invest in production.
