The export turnover reaches USD 210.3 million in February

ABO - According to statistics of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee, the export turnover in February reached USD 210.3 million, the accumulated in the first two months estimated at USD 422.8 million, up 11.7% over the same period.

Some key export items of the province in the first two months included: aquatic products exported 24,974 tonnes (up 8.3%), reaching 62.8 million USD (up 33.9%); rice exported 34,535 tonnes (up 8.4%), reaching USD16.9 million (up 8.7%); textiles and garments exported 11.4 million products (down 9.6%), reaching USD 78.2 million (up 11.3%), etc...

In addition to the main items, the export value of footwear, plastic products, handbags, copper tubes are booming. The accumulated of footwear export in the first two months reached USD 93 million, an increase of 47%; ordinary metal and products reached VND 91.5 million, up 13.4% over the same period, etc...

The import turnover of goods was USD 78.7 million, the accumulated in the first two month estimated at USD 157.6 million, up 7.4% over the same period.
