Cho Gao district continues to develop dragon fruit

ABO – According to the Cho Gao district People’s Committee, the dragon fruit development project continues to be implemented as planned. District has now 5,526.9 hectares planted dragon fruit.

The agriculture sector continues to implement production models according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. The price of dragon fruit is stable at high level with prices of white dragon fruit from VND10,000 to 18,000 VND/kilogram and price of red dragon fruit from VND35,000 to 50,000 VND/kilogram.

The district continues to develop dragon fruit in the district area under the approval scheme until 2020, to promote the implementation and production of dragon fruit safety according to VietGAP standard. At the same time, the agriculture sector has strengthened the management of planned production areas that have been identified and limited development outside the planning area.
