Reference exchange rate down for second day
ABO/VNA – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,477 VND/USD on April 17, down 10 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,155 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,711 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at major commercial banks also reduced slightly compared to those on April 16.
Vietcombank cut both rates by 20 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,735 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,805 VND.
The rates listed at BIDV were 22,740 VND/USD (buying) and 22,810 VND/USD, down 10 VND from the previous day.
Vietinbank is buying the greenback at 22,738 VND/USD and selling at 22,808 VND/USD, down 8 VND from April 16.
