Aquaculture output gets 31,973 tonnes in four months

ABO – According to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee, the aquaculture output got 22,299 tonnes of seafood in April, the accumulated aquaculture output reached more than 31,973 tonnes in four months.

The accumulated breeding output is expected to reach 49,213 tons, up 2.5% over the same period including mainly production of shrimp and Tra industrial fish.

The accumulated exploit output reached 31,973 tonnes (up 0.8% over the same period).

The province continues to implement Directive No. 45/CT-TTg dated December 13, 2017 by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on some urgent tasks and solutions following the EC’s warning; organizing the inspection and review of Tra fish farming establishments in the western region for export to the US market, etc...
