The export turnover reaches USD 200.6 million in May

ABO - According to statistics of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee, the export turnover in May reached USD 200.6 million, the accumulated in the first five months estimated at USD 961.9 million, down 3.4% from the same period.

Some key export items of the province in the five months included: aquatic products exported 47.294 tonnes (down 10.4%), reaching USD 121,3 million (down 24.5%); rice exported 166.966 tonnes (up 32.3%), reaching USD90.3 million (up 50.5%); textiles and garments exported 27.2 products (down 3.6%), reaching USD 159.8 million (down 3.5%), etc...

The import turnover of goods was USD 147.7 million, the accumulated in the five months estimated at USD 658.4 million, up 42.2% over the same period. Of which, the state economy imported USD 41.7 million (down 30.7%), FDI economy imported USD 616.7 million (up 53% the same period).
