Tien Giang province's economy grown 7.23% in first half of 2018

ABO - According to the Tien Giang province People’s Committee, in the first six months of 2018, Tien Giang province enjoyed 7.23% growth in total retail and service revenues, increased 8.2% in comparison with the same period, of which the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector increased 3.3%, the construction industry increased 14.2%, the region services increased 5.8%, etc...

Earnings from industrial production reached VND 48,321 billion, fulfilling 44% of the yearly target and representing a rise of 15.3% over the same period last year.

Of the figure, goods export revenue was US$1.18 million, fulfilling 44.4% of the yearly target.

Meanwhile, earnings from services hit VND 12,245million, an increase of 6.2% over the same time last year.
In the first six months of 2018, Tien Giang province has attracted 18 projects, including 7 FDI projects with total registered capital of more than VND 7,000 billion.
