Twenty-seven industrial clusters planned in the first 6 months

ABO - According to the list of industrial cluster (ICs) development project of Tien Giang province, there are twenty-seven industrial clusters planned in the first 6 months, including four ICs with a total area of ​​108.9 hectares in operation with the total registered capital nearly VND 4.402 billion; three ICs received the investment policy decision by the province, implementing the procedures for investment preparation.

The total number of investment projects at four ICs is 79 projects (including 7 FDI projects) with a total investment of VND 4,401.9 billion with a land area of 78.6 hectares.

The central area has three ICs in operation, including Trung An IC, Tan My Chanh IC (My Tho city) and Song Thuan IC (Chau Thanh district). ICs of the region attracted 52 projects with total investment capital of VND 2,973.7 billion.

In the western region, there is only An Thanh IC (Cai Be district) invested in infrastructure construction and put into operation, accounting for 100% of industrial land, attracting 34 projects with a total investment capital as VND 240.2 billion.

The eastern region has two ICs approved by the province for investment in infrastructure such as Gia Thuan 1 IC and Gia Thuan 2 IC, currently carrying out procedures for changing land use purposes.

In recent years, the shortcomings and inadequacies of ICs such as environmental pollution, fire prevention and fighting, infrastructure, security and order have been gradually overcome, etc ..., actively contributing and creating favorable conditions for businesses to feel secure on production and business.
