The workshop discussed the contents of managing and promoting the collective labeled "Cai Lay Durian"; introducing the logo of the collective mark and the map of the geographical area producing the product under the collective mark; the cultivation process of "Cai Lay Durian"; introducing the contents of the draft regulation on management and use of collective brand name “Cai Lay Durian”.
According to the draft, the regulation on the use of collective marks "Cai Lay Durian" consists of 5 chapters, 17 articles, clearly stipulating the scope of application, the conditions for granting and using the certification mark; the characteristics of the durian product certified; to define the functions and tasks of the certification body; the rights and responsibilities of organizations and individuals to participate in the certification mark.
The brand name "Cai Lay Durian" collective will contribute positively to the building of brands, linking with the local characteristics, improving the quality of products, increasing the competitiveness of this product on the domestic and exported market.
