The work of meeting people, settling complaints and denunciations became more and more routine, even at the grassroots and branch levels. The coordination work for the Provincial People's Council was well organized.

However, there were also many difficulties to be focused on solving such as: The situation of security, especially theft, drugs, usurious loans at some time, causing urgent publicity. The progress of building new rural communes is slow. The inventory index of some industrial products is also high, etc...

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong asked members of the PPC, heads of departments, departments, provinces as well as Chairman of the My Tho city People's Committee to continue promoting the results achieved, to learn from experiences, to overcome the limitations, to raise the sense of responsibility and to innovate working methods with concrete, breakthrough and positive changes in each branch, each agency and unit, especially in organizing the implementation.

At the same time, he requested heads of departments, departments and sectors to immediately review the work from now until the end of the year to strengthen the inspection after the meeting; to organize the preliminary review of the province and each region on implementing of three resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee related to the field of enterprise development, economic development - urban and tourism; to organize a thorough investment promotion conference; to organize a regional conference on science and technology; to continue to accelerate administrative reform; to build new rural areas, etc…
