The export turnover of Tien Giang province gets USD 1.39 billion in first seven months

ABO – According to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee, the export turnover in July is estimated at USD 204 million, the accumulated the first seven months of the year were estimated at over USD 1.39 billion.

Some key export items of the province in the first seven months were seafood (exported 65,849 tonnes), reached USD 175.2 million; rice exports (exported 179,781 tonnes), reached USD 97.4 million; garments (exported 41.6 million items), reached USD 244 million, etc ...

The import turnover of goods was estimated as USD 87.9 million, the accumulated in the first seven as USD 837.4 million, up 23.2% over the same period. Of which, the non-state economy imported USD 79.2 million (down 8.1%) and the foreign-invested sector imported USD 758.2 million (up 27.7% over the same period).
