Tien Giang province's CPI in July rises 0.54%

ABO – According to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee, the consumer price index (CPI) in July increased by 0.54% from the previous month, increased by 4.77% in comparison with June. The average CPI in six months of 2018 increased by 4.31% in comparison with the same period last year.

Comparing to the previous month, 10/11 commodity groups had price index increases including transportation as the highest increase (1.21%); in particular, the telecommunication sector decreased by 0.04%.

The total retail sales and social consumer services in July was estimated at VND 4,783.7 billion, up 9% over the same period.

For the first seven months of the year, the figure was VND 32,537.4 billion, up 8.4% over the same period; of which, the non-state economy reached VND 29,473.7 billion, up 7.4% over the same period.
