New release on the 2018 Tien Giang province investment promotion conference

ABO - In order to speed up the socio-economic development as well as manifest the commitment of Tien Giang province's leaders to enterprises, investors at home and abroad, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee to hold the investment promotion conference under the theme "Tien Giang, investment opportunities - development co-operation" in My Tho city, Tien Giang province, on Agust 9, 2018.

The purpose of the conference is to introduce the potential, strengths, projects calling for investment, preferential policies and attract investment of the province to enterprises, investors in and outside the country. In addition, the Tien Giang province has identified the forum as a forum for exchanges between the government and investors and investors, as well as an opportunity to enhance external relations and promote image of businesses and localities.

These are many main activities:

1. The 2018 Tien Giang province investment promotion conference

a) Date: Agust 9, 2018

d) Guests: The conference to be attended by a total of about 500 delegates:

- Leaders of the Government, central and local ministries and branches.

- Foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations in Vietnam.

- Domestic and foreign investors.

e) The conference program:

- Introduction Tien Giang province - Investment opportunities, development cooperation.

- Speeches by representatives of investors, scientists, business associations and enterprises operating in Tien Giang province.

- To hand over decision of investment policy for enterprises.

- To hand over decision on researching investment policies for enterprises.

- To introduce the list of projects calling for investment.

- Statement of commitment of leaders of Tien Giang province to investors.

- To display products about the achievements of enterprises in Tien Giang province.

e) Projects to be granted investment policy and calling:

- The list of projects calling for investment includes 19 projects in the areas of infrastructure of industrial zones, industrial clusters, hi-tech agricultural sub-areas, processing industry, tourism and commercial infrastructure.

- Projects on handing over investment decisions include 22 projects.

- Projects on handing over research policy include 9 projects.

The total capital for the projects granted investment policy and awarded investment policy is VND 15,650 billion.

2. Exhibition of enterprise development achievements

a) Time: From Agust 7-10, 2018.

b) Location: 30/4 street, My Tho city, Tien Giang province (Lac Hong park).

c) Organizer: the Tien Giang province Investment, Trade, Tourism Promotion Center.

d) Main contents:

- To display key products, achievements of enterprises.
