Tourists to Tien Giang increased more than two times compared to weekdays

ABO - During the three-day holiday of the Vietnamese National Day (September 2), the number of tourists to Tien Giang province increased by two times compared to weekdays.

According to the management board of the My Tho city tourist wharf boat station, the unit welcomed over 4,800 visitors including 3,000 foreign tourists from Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc… and 1,800 domestic tourists. The tourists mainly visited the Thoi Son islet, the Dong Tam snake farm, the Dong Hoa Hiep ancient village, the Vinh Trang pagoda and other tourist sites in the province.

Although the number of tourists to the Tien Giang province increased two times, the price of tours, routes, food, service costs were stable. In addition, many tourist sites in the province had a variety of types of ecotourism typical of the water garden as well as the activities of the water transport were ensured. This was the factors to attract tourists to the Tien Giang province during the holidays.
