Tien Giang province's export revenue surges 0.5 percent

ABO – Tien Giang province earned more than USD 228.2 million in export revenue in the first eight months of 2018, a year-on-year increase of 0.5 percent, reported by the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee.

Of the total, the foreign direct investment (FDI) sector contributed USD 832 million. Meanwhile, the non-State and State-owned sectors bagged USD 85.7 million.

Some key export items of the province in the first eight months of the year including seafood export reached 75,302 tons, reached USD 202.6 million in value; rice output reached 191,353 tons, reached USD 103.8 million in value; garments exported 48.7 million products, reached USD 314.3 million in value, etc…
