Tien Giang province's exports hit USD 1,851 million in nine months

ABO - Exports in the Tien Giang province hit USD 1,851 million in the first nine months of this year, up nearly 0.8 percent annually, according to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee.

Of the total, the foreign direct investment (FDI) sector contributed USD 1,330 million. Meanwhile, the non-State and State-owned sectors bagged USD 520.8 million.

The export turnover of the first quarter reached USD 561.6 million, the second quarter’s export turnover reached USD 629 million and the third’s export turnover reached USD 660.8 million.

Some key export items of the province in the first nine months of the year including seafood export reached 81,505 tons, reached USD 221.7 million in value; rice output reached 226,192 tons, reached USD 120.6 million in value; garments exported 51.4 million products, reached USD 349.3 million in value, etc…
