Discussing the plan of exploiting the Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Zone

ABO - Speaking at the working session with relevant departments about the plan to exploit the Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Zone (Go Cong Dong district) on November 2, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong asked the Management Board of Industrial Zones to review the plan of this industrial park.

The Management Board of Industrial Zones determines how many investors, what kind of industry in the industrial zone, then planning of functional areas.

Besides, on November 15, the Management Board of Industrial Zones must find a professional consultant on industrial issues to propose the exploitation of Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Park to report to the PPC.

In addition, the Management Board of the Industrial Zones should consolidate the management of the unit and the infrastructure development company of the industrial zones; reasonably arranging and assigning tasks to each individual.

On selecting investors, the province will submit to the Standing Provincial Party Committee for advice, on next week.

Chairman of the PPC also said that priority should be given to investment in electricity, transport and water for the industrial zone.

At the meeting, related departments had opinions on the plan of exploiting Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Park such as adjusting the planning, investing in transportation system connected to the industrial park, selecting investors, etc...

 

Previously, on October 30, Chairman of the PPC with relevant departments had a field trip in Soai Rap Service Industrial Park.
