Export turnover reached USD 2.1 billion in the first ten months

ABO - export turnover of the province is estimated at USD 2.1 billion in the first ten months of this year, up 2.5%  over the same period, according to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee.

Some key export items of the province in the first ten months of the year including seafood export reached 93.125 tons, reached USD 254.4 million in value; rice output reached 238,688 tons, reached USD 126.3 million in value; garments exported 60.1 million products, reached USD 436.1 million in value, etc…

In addition, an accumulated value of footwear products reached USD 342 million, up 87.8%; plastic bags reached USD 360.3 million, up 92.7%; ordinary metals and products reached 374.8 million, up 31.3% over the same period.

 

Of the total, the foreign direct investment (FDI) sector contributed USD 1 million. Meanwhile, the non-State and State-owned sectors bagged USD 112.8 million.
