Tien Giang's industrial production index increases 12.2 percent

ABO – Accoding to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee, the index of industrial production (IIP) of the province in ten months of this year gained the rate of 12.2 percent, compared with the same period.

In the first ten months, the IIP increased by 12.2% over the same period, including: manufacturing and processing increased 12.4%, water supply, waste management and treatment gas, water, heating and air conditioning increased 7.3%.

There were 30/41 industrial products with production index increased over the same period, including: bottled beer increased 45.5%; repair services, boat maintenance increased 42.3%, frozen fillet increased 17.9%, etc…

And 11/41 industrial products decreased production index compared with the same month including combine harvesters decreased 40%, plastic bags and bags decreased 33.8%, etc...

The employment cost index of enterprises in October 2018 increased 0.6% over the previous month, increased 9.8% in comparison with the same period last year.
