At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee evaluated the project of Khai Kiet public swimming pool planned to invest in Phuoc Thanh commune, My Tho city. The project aims at investing in swimming pools and catering services, with a total area of 1,500 m2. In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also commented on the project invested by the Guizhou Tire joint stock company in Long Giang industrial zone, Tan Phuoc district, and the project "Consolidating and planting mangroves to protect Go Cong sea dyke”.

Representatives from relevant departments and agencies expressed their opinions around projects, project progress reports, environmental impact assessments, analysis of some issues related to the situation, as well as causes, the potential factors to affect the project, etc...

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong asked the departments concerned to implement the investment procedures closely. At the same time, he asked investors to improve the rate of consumption of domestically produced materials; reducing the use of foreign workers, etc ... when implementing investment projects, to solve labor and contribute to raw material consumption of Tien Giang in particular and the country in general.
