Tourists to Tien Giang increased 13% in the first 11 months of 2018

ABO - According to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee, Tien Giang province welcomed more than 1.7 million tourists in 11 months of 2018, increased 13% over the same period, including 577 thousand international tourists, increased 11.6%. The total turnover of catering services, catering services, travel services and tourism support was estimated at VND 5,584 billion including food services accounted for 96,4%.

In November, Tien Giang province welcomed 162,000 tourists, including 51 thousand international tourists. The turnover of accommodation services, catering services, travel services and travel support activities reached VND 509.8 billion.

Tien Giang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism developed a plan to organize the 2016 Tien Giang Culture, Sports and Tourism Week, the "Tour Guide to Elegant Tourism" in 2019 in Tien Giang province and the video clip promoting tourism for My Tho city and Tan Phuoc district.
