Deploying a product program for each commune in the period of 2019-2020 (referred to as the Tien Giang OCOP program), Tien Giang province has selected 14 products in the food group, 2 products in drinks and 2 products in a typical group of local sales and rural tourism services to focus on standardization and development.

According to Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan, this is an important economic development program to promote production and increase income for the community, contributing to the successful completion of the new rural construction program in the area. Therefore, Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee requires sectors, agencies and units to prioritize the inclusion of the contents of the OCOP program in the key work programs for the period of 2019-2020 to actively implement the high results.
