Viet Nguyen rice processing company is one of the two main units of Tien Giang food industry with a large warehouse area, high cargo handling capacity, products manufactured and processed on modern, synchronized production output line. On average, each year, about 260,000 tons of rice is exported.
However, the purchase of rice in the winter-spring crop in early 2019 was difficult due to lack of capital. On the other hand, the company is currently in the process of transforming into a joint stock company so its objectives and orientations and capital sources are still difficult.

Particularly for My Tho Port joint stock company, in 2018, the volume of goods through the port was about 70,000 tons and more than 22,000 international passengers.

At the meeting with the units, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong affirmed that the Tien Giang province always support and wish the companies and enterprises producing and trading effectively, contributing to the province's socio-economic development. Leaders of the Tien Giang province always create favorable conditions and ensure a favorable investment environment for enterprises to develop and support to overcome difficulties in the production and business process according to the provisions of law.

Also on the meeting this morning, May 22, Chairman of the PPC surveyed the implementation progress of the processing agricultural products project in Binh Duc commune, My Tho city.

The project has an investment scale of 4 hectares, the progress of implementing procedures currently reaches 95%. It will deploy infrastructure as expected in June 2019. In addition, Chairman of the PPC also checked the progress of construction of My Tho Central Plaza building at the land of No. 15B, Road 30-4, ward 1, My Tho city. The project currently is completed the stage of bored piles, preparing to deploy the 2nd package of 20-storey construction.
