Long Binh Dien commune recognized as new rural area

ABO - On June 25, the Tien Giang provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program proclaimed Long Binh Dien commune as new rural commune.

After five years of building new rural areas, Long Binh Dien Kim commune has completed 19 criteria; the poverty rate drops to 4%.  Highlights are electric system, roads, schools, stations built spacious, synchronous; the material and spiritual life of the people raised. The average income per capita reaches nearly 45.5 million VND/person/year; the percentage of people participate in health insurance reaches 85%; the number of people employed is over 95%, etc…

On this occasion, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee of awarded the emulation flag and welfare project worth VND 1 billion to the commune.
