Seven-month FDI capital in Tien Giang province reaches 346.9 million USD

ABO - Total newly-registered and supplemented FDI capital in Tien Giang province was estimated at nearly 346.9 million USD in the first seven months of this year, increased 18 times compared to that during the same period last year, according to the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee.

By the end of July 2019, the total number of projects in industrial parks was 102 projects (including 74 foreign direct investment projects) with a total registered investment capital of 2,224 million USD and 4,564 billion VND. The area of leased land was 541.4 hectares/765.2 hectares, accounted for 70.8% of the area of 4 industrial parks in operation.

There are 27 planned industrial clusters in the province, including 4 active industrial clusters. The total number of investment projects in industrial clusters to date was 79 projects (including 7 foreign investment projects) with a total investment of 4,417 billion VND. The area of leased land was 78.6 hectares, a ratio of full installation reached 96.9%.
