Workers attracted to work in industrial parks and clusters

ABO – Many industrial parks and clusters in Tien Giang province have strongly developed and attracted many enterprises for investment, contributing on solving for laborers inside and outside the province.

It is estimated that the network of industrial parks and clusters in the province has created jobs for nearly 108,000 workers, including 862 foreign workers. Besides the investment promotion in industrial parks and clusters, the Provincial Industrial Zones Management Board with related industries greatly attempted to connect supply - labor demand, promoting consultancy and job introduction activities, creating conditions for employees to find jobs suitable to their strengths, aspirations and stable incomes.

On the other hand, enterprises have also made great efforts to boost production and business activities, dominating the domestic market and export, achieving high economic efficiency associated with social security, taking care of life and things substance and spirit for workers.

According to the report, in the first 6 months of 2019, enterprises in industrial parks and clusters achieved industrial production value of over 37,802 billion VND, up 14.20% compared to last year and nearly 50% of the year target. The export turnover in the first 6 months of the enterprises also reached over 1,322 billion USD, up 10.98% over the same period last year and reached nearly 50% of the yearly target.
