According to the project, Binh Xuan bridge is built on the left of provincial road 873 (in the direction from My Loi bridge to Go Cong town) and away from the existing ferry terminal 103 m.
At the survey trip, the consultant presented three plans for the Binh Xuan bridge construction. Accordingly, in three plans, the consulting unit proposes to build Binh Xuan bridge under the second plan.
The route to the vacant land helps to reduce costs and facilitate clearance, with a length of 1,180 m. If the bridge is built under this plan, the total investment is over 161 billion VND, the lowest among the three plans.
The departments, branches and localities also said that the second plan to build Binh Xuan bridge is the most optimal plan.
Speaking at the survey trip, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong assigned the Tien Giang Department of Transport to continue studying Binh Xuan bridge investment and construction project.
Regarding technical plans, it is necessary to calculate the bridge clearance to ensure the passage of ships and boats; at the same time, Go Cong town is tasked to prepare the site clearance plan, etc...
During this field trip, the delegation also surveyed the Cho Gao canal (Cho Gao district).
