The socio-economic of Tien Giang province continues to develop positively

ABO – On October 1, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong chaired a meeting of the PPC’s members on October 1 to hear reports on the socio-economic development situation in the first 9 months of 2019.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong asked relevant departments and agencies to continue implementing the solutions to ensure traffic safety; the Steering Committee of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction held a meeting to reckon the list of investment projects for communes striving to launch new rural areas in the coming years.

At the same time, the Office of the National Assembly delegation, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee were assigned to arrange a working session with between the leaders of the PPC and Tan Phu Dong district, including contents related to building new rural areas in Tan Thoi commune.

Besides, comrade Le Van Huong also requested the establishment of a steering committee to organize activities to celebrate the spring of 2020; preparing an urban embellishment meeting.

Regarding the construction of digital government, the province will meet with the Steering Committee to prepare a detailed plan, etc...

* On the afternoon of the same day, the PPC Provincial People's Committee implemented the decision on handing over the decision to appoint Deputy Chief of the Provincial Inspectorate Nguyen Nhat Truong to the position of Head of the Department Management Board of Industrial Zones of Tien Giang province.
