Tien Giang to set up the provincial planning with nearly 62 billion VND

ABO - On October 15, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a working session to gather opinions about the provincial planning estimate in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2045. Vice Chairman of the PPC Tran Van Dung chaired the working session.

The provincial planning aims to develop a comprehensive plan, consistent with the national development strategy to ensure the connection between national planning, regional planning and maximize its potential, the province's advantage.

Based on that, the province proposed a plan to arrange socio-economic space; at the same time, resolving current conflict issues and spatial orientation to well serve future needs based on a rational mobilization of internal conditions and attraction of external conditions.

 At the same time, the provincial planning is the basis for the implementation of the medium-term, annual plan, the province's development programs to ensure consistency, efficiency and sustainability, etc…

The total cost estimate for the Tien Giang provincial provisional planning is nearly 62 billion VND. The capital source is based on the medium-term public investment plan of the province.

Vice Chairman of the PPC Tran Van Dung agreed on the outline of the provincial planning outline. At the same time, the Tien Giang Department of Planning and Investment continued to receive comments of the members of the steering board; preparing training content for officials at all levels to do the work of provincial planning; making detailed plans for each module, task and content; timely reporting information regime, etc...
