Building two bridges to welcome the 11th Tien Giang provincial Party Congress

ABO - On November 25, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee and functional agencies checked the progress of Ngu Hiep bridge project on the provincial road 868 in Cai Lay district and Tra Lot bridge project in Cai Be district.

The location of the Ngu Hiep bridge on provincial road 868 will cross on the side of Ngu Hiep commune.

Ngu Hiep bridge on the provincial road 868, linking Long Trung commune and Ngu Hiep commune of Cai Lay district. The project has a total investment of about 170 billion VND. The project has currently conducted measurement and clearance records.

In early February 2020, the project will start construction and put into use by 2022 as expected.  After finishing, the traffic load on the bridge will be unlimited and the waterway will allow the barges of 2,000 tons to pass.

Comrade Le Van Huong said that the Provincial People's Committee will discuss again about the technical adjustment after receiving opinions from Cai Lay district.

* For Tra Lot bridge in Cai Be district, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong concluded that those households affected by the Tra Lot bridge project must be compensated.

In addition, comrade Huong emphasized: Building Ngu Hiep bridge on the provincial road 868 in Cai Lay district and Tra Lot bridge in Cai Be district are practical works to welcome the 11th Provincial Party Congress, tenure 2020 - 2025. The completion of these projects will create a breakthrough in transportation and fruit tree industry for Cai Lay district and Cai Be district.
