In Go Cong Dong district, the delegation checked a intra-field canal in Tan Phuoc commune. The amount of water on the canal and in the rice field is currently quite large. According to local authorities, the current area of rice in the commune will be harvested on 45 next days. The high amount of water stored on the river and in the field is a good sign for farmers.

After that, the delegation checked the pumping station on the routes: Tran Van Dong, Champeaux (Go Cong Dong district); Binh Phan pumping station (Cho Gao district); pumping station of the work of Go Xoai - My Xuan - Muon Nghiep (Go Cong town). Localities have actively carried out the work of pumping water, preventing drought and salinity in accordance with the direction of the Provincial People's Committee. Since then, the prevention of drought and salinity has initially seen effectiveness.

He suggested localities propagandize and mobilize people to use water economically, keeping environmental sanitation. At the same time, local governments need to regularly check to continue to perform well the prevention of drought and salinity.

On this occasion, he extended and presented Tet gifts to leaders and employees of pumping stations on the Year of the Rat.
