Chairman of Tien Giang People's Committee Le Van Huong highly appreciated the efforts of the authorities at all levels and units in coordinating the implementation of the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, promptly supplying fresh water to save durian.

He affirmed that the Provincial People's Committee always closely monitors to promptly remove difficulties and listen to suggestions in the process of supplying fresh water to people to support gardeners in protecting plants.

He asked the local authority to carefully prepare concentrated water gathering points with suitable radius, ensuring traffic safety, creating favorable conditions for people to get water. Fof other types of fruit trees such as: sapote, jackfruit and grapefruit, the Provincial People's Committee will consider deploying fresh water supply plan in the coming future.
