Tien Giang focuses on quickly solving investment procedures

At the meeting, investors including DNP Water Company, Truong Thinh Co., Ltd reported the proposal of Tien River Water Plant project and the inter-provincial transmission pipeline supplying water to Tien Giang province, Long An province and contingency for Ben Tre province, the high-tech potato production and farming factory project.
Many investors also reported the progress of the projects; at the same time, presenting the problems in the process of project implementation and proposing Tien Giang People's Committee as well as departments and branches to have solutions to solve.
Accordingly, up to now, for the Soai Rap Petroleum Warehouse project – NHS Petro company, the investor has submitted an environmental impact assessment dossier to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for appraisal to reach about 80%. It is expected that the environmental impact assessment of the whole project will be completed by April 20.
Particularly, the Tam Minh Duc Tien Giang General Hospital project currently has a construction progress of over 70% of the volume. It is expected to complete by August 8-2020.
As for the Port of Yacht project, procedures and implementation progress are being ensured. The project will be completed by the end of October as expected.
For many opinions and proposals of investors, leaders of departments and agencies gave specific information about problems in the process of implementing projects; at the same time, giving some solutions to remove difficulties.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Le Van Huong thanked investors for investing as well as interest in investing in the province. The Provincial People's Committee will focus highly to expedite investment procedures.
