Chairman of the PPC checks the running water supply in Go Cong Tay district

ABO - On April 3, Chairman of Tien Giang People’s Committee (PPC) worked with Go Cong Tay district People’s Committee about the running water supply in Go Cong Tay district.

According to Go Cong Tay district People's Committee, the shortage of running water has seriously affected people's lives, especially in the upstream areas.

In order to solve the shortage of water for people, in recent time, Tien Giang People's Committee has invested in 3 water supply pipelines including Long Vinh route, Long Binh route and Lo Dinh route of Thanh Cong commune.

In addition, up to now, Go Cong Tay district has also received great support from benefactors including the support of businessman Huynh Uy Dung (Dai Nam Joint Stock Company, Binh Duong Province) with nearly 9km of water pipelines for Yen Luong commune, Binh Phu commune and Long Vinh commune, helping more than 1,500 households with fresh water for living.

However, the connection of the new water pipe to the old plumbing system has been degraded so that it causes the old plumbing system to leak causing water leakage.

Leader of Go Cong Tay district People's Committee has proposed the PPC to take urgent measures to support the construction and installation of plumbing as well as funding support, solutions to get additional water sources from the points to provide people in the district in a water shortage of water.

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong acknowledged the proposals of Go Cong Tay People's Committee’s leader and requested related departments and agencies to urgently resolve difficulties and problems to solve the shortages of water for people in Go Cong Tay district at the earliest time.
