ABO – On April 6, Standing Vice Chairman of Tien Giang People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Nghia worked with Go Dang Joint Stock company, Mekong Plastic Joint Stock company about the situation of production and business before the effect of the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to Go Dang Joint Stock company, the Covid-19 epidemic has greatly affected the company's production activities.

After consulting the employees, the company decided to operate normally. The maintenance of production helps workers very excited. The company is currently facing difficulties due to high inventories.

Facing these difficulties, the company proposed the province not to change the price of its rental space. Enterprises suggested the PPC to propose the Government to help businesses reduce bank interest rates through support; extending the time of social insurance payment for laborers to the end of the year; extending electricity bill payment time, etc…

According to Mekong Plastic Joint Stock company, the main product of the company is supermarket bag. The company's orders currently ensure the production through the end of June 2020.

Plastic resins are sourced from many places, including some from China. Recently, the company met difficulties in importing raw materials from China, buying elsewhere to maintain production.The supply from China has now been connected again. In the face of common difficulties of the enterprise, the company proposed to extend the tax payment time.

At the working session, comrade Le Van Nghia acknowledged the recommendations; at the same time, sharing difficulties with businesses. He emphasized that many departments, branches and provinces will focus on research and settlement recommendations under the authority of provincial People's Committee; the province will support enterprises to petition to the Central for the remaining recommendations.
