According to statistics, in 2020, the budget capital is allocated to Cai Be district with a total capital of over 415 billion VND for 47 works. The disbursement rate now reaches 14.8 percent of the plan.

For Cai Lay district, the total capital is over 213 billion VND to implement 27 works. The disbursement rate now reaches over 13 percent of the plan.

Tan Phuoc district has also disbursed more than 44 billion VND in comparison with the total capital allocated by the provincial budget of nearly 150 billion VND to implement 32 works

Particularly, Cai Lay town has 27 works with total capital of VND 150 billion, disbursing nearly 47 percent of the plan.

In 2020, in the Western region, there are 59 new works under implementation. Until to now, 4 works have been completed and put into use, 15 works under construction, 2 works to invite the bid and the remaining works to implement as prescribed.

Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong highly appreciated the efforts of departments, agencies, and localities in the implementation of public investment projects and constructions, creating conditions for the works to be completed and put into use on schedule in the past time.

He assigned Tien Giang Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the Office of NA delegation - People's Council - Provincial People's Committee to establish 4 teams to check the implementation status of projects in the above localities.

He also paid attention to some issues of project evaluation, considering when signing contracts with contractors, construction capacity and construction progress to ensure the work to complete on schedule as well as ensure quality when putting into use.
