Regarding export of masks, the Government issued Resolution No. 60 on April 29 to lift required licenses for exports of medical masks, thus allowing companies to increase export of masks to countries and territories heavily hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, there are about 20 textile companies in Viet Nam producing anti-bacterial cloth face masks.
The domestic firms also no longer have to rely on imported materials such as antibacterial fabrics or chemical substance. They could produce antibacterial fabrics made from domestically biological materials./.
