Hung Yen receives 32 additional foreign-invested projects

ABO/NDO- According to the Hung Yen Provincial Statistics Department, in the first six months of 2024, Hung Yen Province received 32 foreign-invested investment projects, with more than 544 million USD of registered capital. This brings the total number of foreign-invested projects in Hung Yen Province to 578, with a total registered capital of more than 7.5 billion USD.

Hung Yen Province currently has 17 industrial parks with a total area of about 4,395 hectares that have received many projects with large foreign investment capital. Projects include manufacturing sanitary equipment and sanitation equipment-related accessories of Toto Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Hung Yen Branch, with an investment capital of more than 370 million USD; Aluminium billet production and aluminium products (LCD/OLED TV frames and phone cases) of Hyundai Aluminium ViNa Joint Stock Company, with investment capital of more than 205 million USD; Manufacturing, assembling and processing computers, internet, telecommunications and information equipment and products of Hoya Glass Disk Vietnam II Co., Ltd., with an investment capital of about 200 million USD; Printed circuit board manufacturing for electronic devices, technical testing and analysis services of Mektec Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), with an investment capital of about 200 million USD.

Countries with many investment projects in Hung Yen Province include Japan with 176 projects, registered capital of more than 3.8 billion USD; the Republic of Korea with 154 projects, registered capital of more than 900 million USD; China with 151 projects, registered capital of more than 1.1 billion USD.
