Quang Ninh exports first shipment of bird's nests to China

ABO/NDO- Avanest Vietnam Nutrition Company exported the first batch of bird’s nests to China through the Bac Luan II Bridge Border Gate in Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province.

The shipment includes canned instant bird’s nests and refined bird’s nests.

The activity marks the beginning of cooperation and expansion of Vietnamese bird’s nest exports to the Chinese market through the official channel, helping to promote the development of the bird’s nest industry in Vietnam.

One year ago, the first batches of Vietnamese bird’s nests were officially exported to China through the Huu Nghi Border Gate in Lang Son Province under the protocol between Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and China’s General Administration of Customs.

China is the largest market for bird’s nest products, with a demand of 300 tonnes per year, accounting for 80% of the global market.
