Ninh Thuan launches product promotion week in Ho Chi Minh City
ABO/NDO- A promotion week to showcase the products and specialties of the south central coastal province of Ninh Thuan officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City, on June 13.
The event, co-hosted by the Ninh Thuan Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre and the Ho Chi Minh City Centre for Trade and Investment Promotion, attracted the participation of more than 20 outstanding organisations and enterprises from Ninh Thuan.
According to the Ninh Thuan Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre, the event serves as an important opportunity for the province to promote its image, highlight its potential and strengths, support local businesses in marketing their products, expand distribution networks and seek both investment and trade partners.
Hundreds of distinctive products reflecting the local identity are being introduced and displayed, including grapes, apples, garlic, traditional fish sauce, bird’s nest, various herbal products, and processed agricultural goods.

Additionally, the exhibition features OCOP (One Commune One Product) items rated three stars and above, along with handicrafts, start-up and creative products that are environmentally friendly, safe for health, and aligned with modern consumer trends.
Beyond the product display and promotion, the programme also includes a series of supply-demand matching activities and business networking events. Enterprises will have the opportunity to meet directly with distribution systems, supermarkets and retailers; conduct market surveys; connect with potential investors; and explore the province’s investment climate and tourism potential.
To date, Ninh Thuan Province has more than 270 OCOP products rated three stars or higher, including 42 four-star products and 228 three-star products.
Several agricultural items from the province have to date been successfully exported, such as cashew kernels, aloe vera, asparagus, purple onions, fresh green apples and dried apples. Notably, aloe vera-based products have reached 22 countries, generating an annual export value of approximately 3.5 million USD.
The event will run until June 19.
