Hoang Sa, Truong Sa exhibition comes to northern province of Thai Nguyen
More than 600 exhibits demonstrating Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos, are on display at an exhibition which opened in Vo Nhai district, the northern province of Thai Nguyen in August 5.

The exhibits, including documents, books, newspapers, photos, posters, and maps, underlined the especially important role of the sea and islands in the country’s socio-economic development, and national security and defence.
On display are over 150 books about the Party and State’s policies on the sea and islands, 23 books from other sources and 900 articles on the locations’ significance to the country.
Documentary films about the national seas, islands and borders are being screened during the event, aiming to help promote patriotism, solidarity and sense of responsibility among people from all walks of life to protect the country’s sovereignty.
The exhibition will run until August 9.
