Photo exhibition commemorates General Vo Nguyen Giap

An exhibition titled “Vo Nguyen Giap, the People’s General” marking the General’s 104th birthday (August 25th) opened in Hanoi on August 24.

The display features 104 photos which were taken by photographic artist, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Nghi during nearly 15 past years.

This is the 3rd time photographer Nguyen Trong Nghi has organized photo exhibition on the General to express his respect for General Vo Nguyen Giap’s revolutionary life and career.

The previous displays themed “General Vo Nguyen Giap with Truong Son Troops” and “General Vo Nguyen Giap with Veterans” were held in 2009 and 2012.

The exhibition will last until August 28.
