Photo book on General Vo Nguyen Giap released

The Gioi Publishers has recently released a book of photographs about General Vo Nguyen Giap, supported by translations from Vietnamese, to both English and French.

The book features an introduction by American writer, journalist and charity activist, Lady Borton.

The book includes 117 photos selected from thousands of works by photojournalist Tran Hong, who is renowned for portraying Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and the General. These photos were displayed at Hong’s first photo exhibition about the General in the central province of Quang Binh in 2006.

Up to now, Mr. Hong has about 2,000 photos of the General and has carried out several exhibitions featuring the General.
