12 Japanese films to be broadcast on Vietnam Television

Vietnam Television (VTV), in collaboration with the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs and Broadcast Program Export Association of Japan (BEAJ), will broadcast 12 Japanese films starting on October 5.

Eight films will run everyday on VTV1 from October 5, 2014 to January 3, 2015 and four others on VTV6 from Monday to Wednesday every week between January 5, 2015 and April 20, 2015.

The subject of the films fall into the genre of drama, adventure, crime & punishment, comedy, fiction and horror and include performances from famous Japanese actors including Oguri Shun, Inoue Mao, Takuya Kimura and Maki Horikita.

The series will open with 14 episodes of ‘Antarctica’, with the participation of well-known actor Takuya Kimura. Most films were produced in 2011 and 2013.
