Tien Giang bagged 3 golds in Pencak Silat at the 7th National Sport

The Pencak Silat event at the 7th National Sport ended on December 9th at the Hai Hau district sports centre in the northern province of Nam Dinh, after 7 days of competition.

Some 400 athletes from 28 provinces and cities from around the nation joined the event, competing for 26 categories in the Tading and Seni events.

The athletes from Tien Giang province pocketed a total of 3 medals (1 gold by male artist, Mach Quoc Hung, in the men’s 70kg event, 1 silver by Pham Nguyen Quynh Nhu in the woman’s 65kg event, and 1 bronze by Nguyen Tuan Viet in the men’s 65kg event).

So far, the Tien Giang delegation has won 2 gold medals, 4 silver, 5 bronzes and ranking in the top 34 of 65 delegations.
