Traditional flour mill sets Vietnam record

A traditional granite flour mill has been recognised as the largest of its kind in Vietnam by the Vietnam Record Book Centre (Vietkings).

It was made on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of establishment of TAKYFOOD company with the aim of upholding traditional cultural values and popularising Vietnamese cuisine to the world.

The 3-tonne flour mill is one of traditional items which is associated with wet rice civilisation of the Vietnamese people.
