The event was co-organised by the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission for Communication and Education and Nhan Dan (The People) Newspaper to remember the glorious tradition of the Party while expressing profound gratitude to predecessors, heroes and martyrs who laid down their lives for national independence and freedom.
Speaking at the event, PCC member and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Thuan Huu stressed that the establishment of the CPV was a very important turning point in the country’s revolution.
Under the leadership of the Party, Vietnamese people have promoted solidarity in their struggle for national independence and unification, as well as in the national construction towards socialism, he said.
Embracing every hardship, the entire Party, people and army exerted every effort to gain significant achievements in the Doi Moi (Renewal) process, he added.
Our Party has no other interest but national interests, and has no target but realising the target of turning Vietnam into a strong country with prosperous people and a democratic, fair and civilised society, he emphasised.
Singers and dancers brought to the stage beautiful songs and dances praising the country’s natural beauty, glory of the Party and beloved Uncle Ho.
