Long Hung is proclaimed the new rural commune

 Long Hung has just been proclaimed the new rural commune by the Chau Thanh district People’s Committee and The Provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program to build new rural areas.

After 4 years of implementing the National Targeted Program to build new rural areas, Long Hung commune has met 19 standards required for a new rural commune.

In implementing of helping to develop economic, the poverty rate of household is reduced by 0,1 percent in comparison with 2013. The poverty rate of household is now 3.9 percent. There are more than 8,000 regular labors working in many industrial zones. The commune’s average per capita income is over VND 26 million per year.
