The 2015 National Billiards & Snooker Championship (Round 1) opens in Tien Giang

On the morning March 15, the 2015 National Billiards & Snooker Championship (Round 1) opened in the My Tho Sport Center, Tien Giang province.

Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc; Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Minh; Head of Billiard & Snooker Department of General Administration of Sport Doan Tuan Anh; leaders and representatives of the provincial departments attended.

There are 600 athletes from 23 provinces, cities participated in competition with six men's singles contents: tape 1, tape 3, English billiards, Snooker, Pool 9-Ball, 10-Ball Pool

The 2015 National Billiards & Snooker Championship (Round 1) is an opportunity for athletes to compete and affirm their position with this sport.

This is also an opportunity to discover and add outstanding athletes to national team, to prepare athletes for participating in international competitions in the future.

The competition runs until March 25.
